Spa will be a 12-building greenfield project and open in 2018

Beijing, Nov 27 (ČTK correspondent) - A huge spa, to be built for the equivalent of Kč 2 billion by Chinese investors from the Hebei province in cooperation with the South Moravia region, will emerge in Pasohlávky, South Moravia, South Moravia governor Michal Hašek told journalists today.
Hašek is accompanying Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka on a visit to China.
The spa, to be opened at the end of 2018, is to offer some 500 jobs.
The idea of building a spa in Pasohlávky appeared already at the turn of 2007 and 2008. Hašek said that the plan was dynamically addressed only two years ago with the arrival of Jiří Škrla, former head of exhibition company Brněnské veletrhy a výstavy, to the management of company Thermal Pasohlávky.
The company was set up by the South Moravia region and the town of Pasohlávky. The South Moravia region launched talks with the Hebei province some one year ago.
"I am glad that I could sign a memorandum on cooperation for the project with the governor of the Hebei province today," Hašek said.
The today-signed agreement is the expression of political support from the side of the Chinese province and the South Moravia region. All economic details are to be further discussed by the companies involved in the project.
"The total costs that we will invest in the project together with the Chinese side reach around €80 million, which means more than Kč 2 billion," Hašek said.
This will be the biggest spa built as a greenfield project in Central Europe. Twelve spa buildings are to be in roughly a 20 hectare area. After the completion, the spa is to offer its services to around 2,000 guests. Apart from traditional spa care, it will also provide elements of Chinese medicine.
"The Hebei province has its investment fund and on the side of the South Moravia region, company Thermal Pasohlávky is the investor," Hašek said about the project's financing.
The Chinese side is to hold some 80 percent and the Czech side 20 percent in the project, he added.
The talks about the project's details are to be completed some time in the first half of next year. Permit procedures will follow. Pujčky na Účet rychle.
The construction itself is planned for the second half of 2017 and for 2018. The spa is to be opened to clients at the end of 2018 or in February 2019 at the latest.
Most of the employees will be from the Czech Republic. The spa is to specialize mainly in treatment of locomotive organs.
